Center, Pin & Hole Punches

Center punches mark a drill point; pin punches drive out pins and shafts; hole punches pierce leather, rubber, cardboard and sheet metal. The section includes 6×100 mm punches, automatic centre punches, 1.5–6 mm punch sets, 3×150 mm pin punches and 1.5–8 mm pin-punch sets including brass and ball-tip, 2.5–10 and 3–25 mm hole-punch sets, a leather punch, a hydraulic punch for 22–60 mm, revolving-head punch pliers, a hole-punch/edge-bender, an awl and nail sets.

To stop the bit wandering, mark the point with an automatic centre punch — it strikes without a hammer — or an ordinary 6×100 mm punch. Drive pins with a 3×150 mm pin punch or a 1.5–8 mm pin-punch set. Make holes in gaskets and leather with a 2.5–10 mm hole-punch set or punch pliers. Strike them with a fitter’s hammer; layout with scriber and stamps.
