УШС-2 Universal welding gauge

Description

Designed for checking fillet weld legs in the range 4-14 mm
Meets the requirements of STB 1133-98 "Welded joints. Method of inspection by visual examination and measurements. General requirements"
Inspection is carried out by the stepped method of determination down to the minimum gap.

Consists of 3 separate leaves with legs 4,14 mm; 8,10 mm; 6,12 mm and a connecting ring
Each leaf has precisely made recesses of a definite leg size
For convenient checking, next to each recess the size corresponding to the weld leg radius is stamped
Weld leg checking is done by successive contact (selection) of the leaves with the parts joined by welding. The size is considered established if the long side of the leaf and the bridge between the leaf legs fit the parts without a visible gap, and the gap between the leaf arcs and the weld is minimal. If none of the size steps in the stated range matches, the leg value is determined empirically.

Made from acid-resistant stainless steel with antiferromagnetic properties and resistant to various chemicals

Manufacturing accuracy ±0.1 mm.
Mean time between failures not less than 1 000 conventional measurement cycles
