Soldering station with a digital LED display, temperature control and many functions that make correct soldering of joints easier. The station supports soldering iron 908D adapted to the very popular interchangeable tips of the 900M series.

Temperature stabilisation function allows maintaining the set tip temperature under various conditions for correct soldering. The tip, depending on the size of the soldered element and the soldering area, gives off more or less heat, and the device, using the built-in tip temperature sensor, constantly reads its actual value and compares it with the set one. Then, depending on needs, it increases or decreases power consumption to maintain the set temperature.

Hibernation function of the device allows the soldering station to enter standby mode, which automatically lowers the operating temperature to 200 °C. This prevents unnecessary heating of the tip, which significantly extends its service life.
The soldering station will enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of operator inactivity.

Automatic cooling function combined with the hibernation function allows the hot air gun to cool the nozzle to 100 °C and then enter sleep mode. At the end of work the operator must place the hot air gun in the plastic holder with a built-in touch activation element, after which the nozzle cools down and automatically enters sleep mode. After removing the hot air gun from the holder the hot air module is automatically activated to the previously set parameters.

Fault detection function provides automatic diagnostics of the electronic circuits required for correct device operation. After switching on the power button the station runs a self-test and in case of problems issues an error message.
