Warranty terms

YATO — industrial-grade goods; manufacturer's warranty: power tools — 6 months, measuring tools and instruments — 12 months; warranty claims are very rare

Berent — lower-priced goods; the factory does not cover replacements under warranty, as there is none. The quality is better than market-stall tools. There were complaints about cutting tools (drill bits, wood hand saws, hacksaw blades for metal). There were no complaints about the other tools

Ways in which the warranty is honoured:

- free replacement

- repair

- refund of the cost of the product.

Conditions:

1. A document confirming the purchase of the product must be provided (contract, agreement, warranty letter).

2. Replacement or repair of the product is carried out by the selling company after a technical examination of the product. The examination and repair are carried out within a reasonable time by the company's authorised representatives.

3. If replacement or repair is not possible, the selling company reserves the right to refund the cost of the product.

The time to replace a defective product is 2–3 months.

For the following products the warranty is provided only at the time of sale and covers defects of design and materials that prevent normal use of the tool

- ratchet mechanisms

- replaceable parts of spanners and T-handles

- packaging and consumables.

The warranty does not cover:

1. the following types of tool:
      - bits and inserts;
      - impact tools;
      - cutting tools;
      - reducing adapters;
      - lightweight-design tools;
      - the calibration mechanism of torque wrenches;
      - tools made in the PRC (unless the product description states otherwise).

2. tools showing any of the following signs:
      - wear from use;
      - natural wear and tear;
      - design modifications;
      - absence of a trademark;
      - deformation of the working edges of the tool;
      - mechanical or technical damage caused by use other than as intended, or in breach of the rules and standards of operation and storage.

In the case of improper use, the damaged product is not eligible for replacement.

The selling company gives no warranties other than those stated above. All disputes and disagreements arising between the buyer and the selling company must be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For your safety:
     1. Use personal protective equipment when working.
     2. Lubricate moving mechanisms.
     3. Do not extend tool handles! To increase leverage, use special extension handles (if provided for by the design).
     4. Standard sockets are not designed for use with impact tools. Use special impact sockets.
     5. Do not use screwdrivers as drifts, centre punches or chisels, and do not work on live equipment.
