Numbers and marks on metal are struck with 6 mm numeral stamps and 6 mm Latin letters; on small parts — 3 mm numerals. Layout on metal and glass is done with a scriber; on any surface — industrial markers; large layout — industrial chalk. Strike stamps with a fitter’s hammer; centre a drill point with center punches.
