Chisels cut metal; wrecking bars and pry bars lever, pull and dismantle. The section includes chisels 12–76 mm wide and 130–300 mm long, including with hand guard, sets of chisels, punches and pin punches of 3–12 pieces, wrecking bars and claw pry bars 300–900 mm, a striking bar 10×300 mm and striking pry-bar sets of 4 pieces.

The usual choice is a 400 mm wrecking bar; for dismantling and pulling nails — a 900 mm claw pry bar or 900 mm profiled pry bar. Chisels for different jobs — in a 12-piece chisel, punch and pin-punch set; individually — a 12×152 mm chisel or with guard 25×300 mm: the guard protects the hand on a miss. Strike the chisel with a fitter’s hammer; separate punches and pin punches — in center, pin & hole punches.
