Long nose pliers reach and hold small parts in tight spaces, bend wire and loops. The section includes long nose pliers 115–200 mm — straight, bent, high- and extra-strength, 160 mm round nose pliers and 330 mm long combination pliers — straight and bent at 45° and 90°.

For electrics and small repairs the usual choice is 160 mm long nose pliers; for harder work — high-strength 200 mm. In hard-to-reach places a 115 mm bent long nose helps; deep in the engine bay — 330 mm long pliers and 45° bent. Wire loops are bent with round nose pliers.
