Scissors and snips for cutting sheet metal, tinplate, cardboard, fabric and plastic. The section includes straight, left- and right-cut tin snips for up to 1.2–1.5 mm, 250–350 mm long, tinplate snips up to 0.7 mm, disc shears for sheet up to 1.6 mm, steel-strap snips, multipurpose scissors 140–265 mm, 215 mm tailor’s scissors and 200 mm multifunctional scissors.

For tinplate and profile the usual choice is 250 mm tin snips cutting up to 1.5 mm; for curved cuts there are left and right models. Long cuts on sheet are faster with disc shears. For home and workshop — 200 mm multipurpose scissors and 140 mm. Profile and pipe are easier with a hacksaw; cable and rod — a cable cutter.
