Hydraulic wrenches tighten and loosen large threaded fasteners with torque beyond hand tools. The section includes cassette hydraulic wrenches for nuts from 36 to 115 mm with torque up to 19 919 Nm, reducing inserts for them, a hydraulic wrench with 1-1/2" square for 1 553–15 528 Nm, a two-post pump station and 70 MPa high-pressure hoses with quick couplers from 4 to 9 m long.

A kit is assembled from three parts: a cassette wrench or 1-1/2" square wrench, a pump station and hoses for it. Reducing inserts let one cassette wrench work with smaller nuts. If less torque is needed, see multipliers in torque wrenches or striking spanners.
